Так как до этого первый раз стол покрывала воском, то само покрытие из-за регулярного использования немного стерлось, поэтому особо счищать верхний слой не пришлось.
По старому рисунку прошлась очень аккуратно нождачной бумагой.
Изначально поверхность стола была матовой, без особого покрытия, и краска от Лены Сивачевой (студия ПаРижанка) ложилась легко.
Идея первого рисунка была в голове, второй раз я его просто обновила и добавила немного элементов. (Кто будет за ним пить чай -  будет искать счастливые слова).

Поверхность в этот раз покрыла в 4 слоя лаком для внутренних работ.
Первый и второй слой - с промежутком в час, третий - через часа три, а четвертый - на следующий день.

А вот другой столик в белом варианте для светлой кухни.

С чего начать, если решили обновить стол?

- найти идею, что именно хотите изобразить, на что будете смотреть каждый день и радоваться.
- понять, какая поверхность стола и какие краски подобрать. (С этим вопросом лучше обратиться к профессионалам)
- находим время для самой работы. У меня работа заняла два дня по пять часов, с учетом, что основной рисунок был уже нанесен.
- покрываем лаком.

И новый стол с Вами. Кстати, преимущество такого стола в том, что если ребенок или Вы случайно нарисуете на таком столе, то всегда будете знать, как это исправить)
